The Rock Creek Alliance is holding its annual party/meeting on Thursday, September 10th, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Pend d’Oreille Winery in Sandpoint.  The event is free and open to the public. Guest Lecturer, Mark Pullen, with the Ice Age Floods Institute will give an informal presentation on Glacial Lake Missoula and its influence on the formation of Lake Pend Oreille. The Alliance staff also will present a brief update on the proposed Rock Creek mine.
