A dangerous place to mine.

The Cabinet Mountains Wilderness is located in the northwest corner of Montana, just 25 miles from the Idaho border. The proposed mine will tunnel into the wilderness from the southwest, putting it in dangerous proximity to the lower Clark Fork River, Cliff Lake, Moran Basin, St. Paul Lake, Rock Lake and Lake Pend Oreille. Mouse over the map to learn more about the mine and the wilderness it threatens.
